Students are challenged to empathize and truly understand authentic design challenges, define design constraints, generate creative ideas and make tangible design solutions.
High-tech manufacturing tools and processes are paired with traditional craftsmanship to create final products that can only be dreamed of in traditional classes.

Maker Faire
The ASW Design Center hosts an annual Maker Faire - an event in which makers, engineers, builders and tinkerers from the school and beyond can exhibit and share their projects in an interactive way with the ASW community.
Maker Faire is also a unique opportunity for our students to showcase their class work and share their knowledge with all of our learners. Check out the video for some highlights from the faire.
