Play stimulates imagination, grows curiosity and supports academic achievement. Through play, students can explore their interests while having fun.
At ASW, we believe all students should have the opportunity to experience daily unstructured outdoor play - our Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) playground supports this play in all weather conditions, offering:
- natural materials and loose parts that invite play
- pathways
- structures to support physical and sensory needs
- open spaces for ball play
- a messy kitchen
