Class of 2023 University Admissions Data 

The HS Counseling office would like to share some preliminary university admissions data from the Class of 2023. Congratulations to everyone in the class! This is current data and it will be updated after the summer since some students are still waiting on university decisions, final IB scores (since some decisions are conditional on the final IB score) and some students will apply over the next couple of months. 

• There was a total of 551 university applications sent by ASW students for an average of 6.48 apps per student.
• Students applied to 358 institutions in 18 countries. 
• 46% of the applications went to schools in the United States, followed by 26% to the UK, 8% to the Netherlands and 6% to Canada. 
• At least 3 of the 85 students from the Class of 2023 are planning to take a Gap year or attend the military. 

Additionally, 19 students in the Class of 2023 completed a Concourse Global Clearing profile. This is a newer platform in the world of university admissions where students create a profile and universities around the world seek out students who will be a good fit, then offer admissions to students who meet their profile. ASW students were very well received by universities around the world. Here is a list of universities that invited ASW students to be a member of their community. Additionally, a number of these universities offered scholarships totaling just over $10,000,000.00 USD!
