The ASW PTO organized a unique way to say 'thank you' to our teachers and staff this year. Earth Day, which coincided with the PTO's annual Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day, acted as an inspiration for the organizers, who decided to deliver a message of gratitude (and environmental awareness) through the gift of potted plants. As PTO President Maria explained "gratitude is green" this year!
On the morning of the event, ASW faculty and staff were invited to collect a plant of their choice, and enjoy a tasty snack and hot beverage in the Hall of Flags.
Thanking her fellow parents, Maria said: "Behind the PTO Team, many more parents are willing to support every idea we have to spread joy in our school. The Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day is a living example of our school's community spirit."
