On February 2, ASW buzzed with creativity and innovation as our 10th grade students presented their MYP Personal Projects. The event was the culmination of months of dedication and hard work, and the diverse range of projects reflected the unique passions and talents of each participant. From interactive exhibits to insightful presentations, each project was a demonstration of creativity, ingenuity, and dedication.
The Personal Project is a year-long project during which the students create either some sort of a product or outcome based around their own personal interests or hobbies or something which they would like to learn more about.
It is important for students to complete the Personal Project for two reasons: not only does it allow them to discover and learn more about something they are interested in, but it also prepares students for the next stages of their academic and social lives by giving them a chance to learn how to manage and plan many months in advance, as well as research and create a longer written piece.
