Teachers were inspired and had fun yesterday learning how to make ceramic bowls - with students as their teachers!
Ms. Fernandez, High School Art Teacher, explains the activity:
'Yesterday each teacher came and created at least one clay bowl and they will return after the winter break to glaze their fired projects. All proceeds benefit charity and the teachers will get to keep their ceramic bowls afterward.
The team of NAHS (National Art Honor Society) artists designed and prepared the lesson and materials and then helped the teachers to successfully create their ceramic bowls.
Now that we know how it worked and that everyone had fun, we will be offering more of these sessions!'
