ASW theatre and music students performed in a student-written play on Monday.
12th grader Lucas started writing the musical comedy, including the script and the score, around 6 months ago, during his free time.
The production, entitled The Inspector's Notebook, transported the audience to 18th century Paris, where a tense game of cat and mouse was playing out between illicit enlightenment writers and the religious establishment.
Along with the actors/singers, a full ensemble band provided the musical score. The play was performed, appropriately, in the Library, with the generous permission of the librarians.
