How do other countries celebrate the holidays? During today's PTO Coffee Morning, which takes place monthly, twelve members of our international community briefly shared their holiday traditions.
We found out some interesting facts: in Denmark they use real candles instead of electric lights on the Christmas tree, and starting from the beginning of December they give a little present every day to the children until Christmas. In Brazil they cook leftovers from the Christmas meal on the BBQ, and after the meal they go out and enjoy the warm weather either in the garden or to the beach!
Other countries represented were: Philippines, Italy, Brazil, Denmark, Germany, Israel (Hanukkah), Poland, The Netherlands.
