Linin refugee centre ASW students paint a fence

The Upper School ASW Service experiences are back up and running. During a fantastic Activities & Club Faire new members were recruited for Hand4Paw, Garden Guardians, Warsaw Volunteer Mission, Refugee, GIN Conference and the Cancer Awareness Clubs.

On September 5th, all 11th grade students had an opportunity to participate in various service activities.

Some of them travelled to the Last Chance Animal Shelter, where they cleaned facilities and took the dogs for walks. Another group helped out Warsaw Volunteer Mission to prepare land for a new community center.

The Garden Guardians worked here at ASW: students picked pumpkins, beatroots, potatoes and rhubarb to be donated to a homeless shelter. Another group of 11th graders visited Linin Refugee Centre, were they painted fences, and played sports and games with the Centre’s young people.

We are very excited to have new service club members and are looking forward to our new service experiences.
