Between the many swimming pool, outdoor games and craft sessions, kids attending this year's summer camp also got to grow their green thumbs by helping out in the school gardens!
Kids headed to the school gardens armed with watering cans and an enthusiasm to learn about the different types of flowers, trees and fruiting plants that we grow here on campus.
After feeding, weeding and pruning the plants, the young gardeners got to pick and eat new carrots, beans, strawberries and other fruits that were just coming in to season.
With the heat wave that hit Poland during the summer camp, the plants certainly enjoyed the regular water and special attention. And the kids enjoyed a different dimension to summer fun!
Thank you to our summer camp participants for stepping forward and helping our garden grow!
