The traditional ASW Holiday Bazaar took place at ASW on December 14th. 43 local producers and vendors signed up for a stand at the bazaar, with products on offer such as Japanese bags, handmade ceramics, essential oils and artisan perfumes, and even surrealist paintings. Throughout the day, hundreds of parents and students showed up to find the perfect gift. This year's bazaar raised over 9,000zl for charity!
The bazaar was fully organised by high schoolers Taylor and Jan. But what was it like? Taylor said "Organising the event was a bit more challenging than what I originally had in mind. However, I would never take back my decision to do it because it was such a rewarding experience. When Jan and I saw how we were able to bring a bit of holiday spirit to the community, and help out an amazing charity at the same time, we both knew that running this event was truly worth it. I would not trade that for the world!"
Well done to Taylor and Jan and we look forward to the next one!
