Yesterday afternoon, a curious looking package was delivered to my office. I wondered, which one of my kind relatives has sent me a Christmas present? But when I opened the box, I was surprised to see this…

IBDP plaque

The plaque was accompanied with the following note:

Congratulations on your 25-year anniversary of becoming an IB World School! Thank you for your hard work, dedication and contribution to the success of the IB’s mission. We know that it takes a community to make your IB Programme successful, so we would also like to acknowledge the people who made it happen.

We send our deepest gratitude to you, the programme coordinator, the parents and the students, without whom none of this would be possible. We look forward to more milestones with you.

All the best, Adrian Kearney, Director of IB World Schools

It truly is an honor to be a member of this great community during such a momentous year, one which sees us achieve Continuum School status – after being approved to have the PYP and MYP – and celebrate twenty-five years of World School status. What a great Christmas present!
