Building the Future

It's time to launch our project more formally as promised in last week's Town Hall with plenty of detail for you to review as it is updated.  To that end, we have now established the promised website at the following link:

ASW is embarking on the most significant work on this campus since 2012 when the Annex Building opened.  The designs for this innovative refresh are community derived and represent significant effort since 2018 in their crafting under a new mission and vision.  We have the plans.  We have the permits.  We have the contractor!  And, now we have the will to see this project through the next 24 months of work and the challenges that may emerge so that the benefits can be enjoyed at the earliest opportunity.  As we approach the horizon of our vision, all is coming into view and the opportunities are amazing!

#ASWforTurkiye

Mark your calendars for a fundraising event on Tuesday, March 21, at ASW theatre, featuring ASW students and professional Turkish and Polish performers. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the cafeteria entrance, PTO Store, at the Business Club stand, online via bank transfer, or on the day of the event at the door.

This is a family event, and all are welcome.  The evening will begin at 5.00PM with a Turkish food sale followed by the ASW student performances, a concert, a raffle, and more.

The proceeds from the event will be spent to purchase a container home for a family who lost their home in the recent earthquakes.  Each ticket purchased will automatically enter a raffle with a chance to win two round-trip tickets from Warsaw to Istanbul, an espresso machine, or a cleaning robot to assist you at home.

For the online purchase, please use the details below:

Rotary Club Donation

A big thank you to the Toledo Community for their generous donation of 51 thousand dollars to support our #ASWforUkraine program. This contribution will allow us to continue serving the Lipowa Center and support many families visiting the Center daily.

With the amount donated, we will be able to buy 2500 food packages that will help those families in need during the upcoming months. Each package is $20 worth of food products, including milk, rice, pasta, and other nonperishable items.

Corporate Priority Seat

In prior years since 2019, we have communicated opportunities for corporation sponsorship through a partnership with ASW under the Culture of Giving programme. At this time of significant growth and as we move into "Building the Future," there are many options for our corporate partners to help us.  The school has, since its inception, served primarily the diplomatic and corporate communities as the core of our diversity and the driving force behind the need for our institution.  All indications remain that this segment of the expatriate population continues to grow and our robust applications demonstrate a growing need for this top-tier international school.  We want to use this opportunity to thank our current partners and remind those not yet supporting us that tuition revenue alone is insufficient to confront the challenge of continued growth and development under growing demand.  Corporations around the world have come to understand that other supports are essential to both establishing and maintaining good international schools for the children of highly mobile staff.  ASW continues to seek your participation in this regard and our Culture of Giving guide will provide guidance on these opportunities.  We want to thank the following companies for being the first to support ASW through our priority seat programme and we consider them founding partners in our ongoing work to change the world for the better:
